About the role

Adcote School Shanghai is seeking a dedicated Physical Education (PE) Teacher to deliver high‑quality PE lessons within a bilingual learning environment. The successful candidate will design and implement engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons that support student fitness, skill development, and overall well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality PE lessons to students.
• Prepare relevant lesson plans and course materials.
• Use a variety of delivery methods suited to student needs and the Cambridge curriculum.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support subject delivery in a bilingual setting.
• Develop resources, support teaching programmes, and deliver additional courses as required.
• Assist in achieving annual targets for learner retention and success rates.
• Provide accurate assessment feedback in line with examination requirements.
• Maintain attendance records, student discipline, and formative assessment records.
• Offer active support to individual learners and manage evening study sessions.
• Serve as co‑form tutor to assist the homeroom teacher with class management.

Required profile

• Ability to deliver high‑quality PE lessons.
• Capability to prepare relevant lesson plans and materials.
• Familiarity with the demands of the Cambridge curriculum.
• Experience working in a bilingual learning environment.
