Paralegal – Corporate & Finance

About the role

We are looking for a Paralegal to join the Corporate & Finance group in our Beijing office. The successful candidate will support corporate partners on cross‑border transactions and commercial matters, working closely with a global team of lawyers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist corporate partners on multi‑jurisdictional projects, including due diligence, drafting, negotiation and legal research.
• Prepare and review commercial contracts and provide analysis of applicable laws and regulations across jurisdictions.
• Support corporate and regulatory advice work for corporate clients and financial institutions.
• Coordinate with other offices, including Hong Kong and London, to ensure seamless transaction execution.

Required profile

• PRC legal qualification (mandatory); additional qualification in another jurisdiction is a plus.
• Minimum of one year of legal experience, preferably in corporate or finance law.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Strong project‑management and organisational abilities, able to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, with a high level of ownership and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Legal research and drafting.
• Knowledge of corporate and regulatory frameworks in China and other jurisdictions.
