About the role

The company is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to conduct high‑quality feasibility studies and produce bills of materials for new lighting products based on end‑user applications and technical requirements. The role involves close collaboration with customers, factories and suppliers to ensure design integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with feasibility studies and bills of materials derived from end‑user applications and technical specifications.
• Create detailed design drawings for parts, defining dimensions, tolerances and material selections.
• Interpret customer specifications and determine assembly and part requirements.
• Manage drawing quality and work with factories and suppliers to resolve feasibility issues.
• Offer technical support to inspection tool manufacturers and other suppliers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• At least three years of experience in vehicle lighting structural design, with at least one independent full‑lamp project completed.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CATIA software.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles for lighting products.
• Experience creating bills of materials and feasibility assessments.
