About the role

We are looking for an International Business Consultant to support our clients in expanding into new markets. The role involves delivering market intelligence, identifying strategic partners, and assisting senior management with business development activities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research and prepare regulatory briefing notes to give clients insight into competitive landscapes and compliance frameworks.
• Execute operational missions to identify, assess and qualify potential business partners, including suppliers, distributors, clients and M&A targets.
• Perform headhunting assignments: source qualified candidates, conduct initial assessments and produce candidate reports.
• Support senior management in drafting proposals, presentations, client background checks and pre‑sales materials.
• Monitor competitive and market intelligence, produce newsletters, industry and country reports for strategic decision‑making.
• Research innovative tools related to AI, databases, prospecting techniques and marketing initiatives to improve internal processes.
• Assist in planning and executing online and offline events, managing communications and guest invitations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in International Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Communication or related fields.
• 2–5 years of experience in a consulting firm serving overseas clients.
• Highly proactive, autonomous with strong analytical, communication and writing abilities.
• Excellent time‑management, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Quick learner, adaptable to changing work demands.
• Native Chinese speaker with excellent written English; French is a plus.
