About the role

The Capacity Planning Engineer will support the SMT production centre by managing weekly and monthly capacity forecasts, ensuring efficient use of MAE investments and meeting on‑time delivery commitments for customers. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to identify and resolve capacity constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Update weekly TEK charts based on rolling forecasts and issue early warnings for capacity issues.
• Coordinate capacity meetings, follow up on actions, and develop solutions for identified bottlenecks.
• Maintain monthly TEK data, confirm MAE investment and line optimisation to satisfy demand.
• Calculate maximum SMT capacity for delivery planning and communicate results to value‑stream owners.
• Conduct capacity surveys for line shutdowns, new projects, and potential volume ramp‑ups.
• Support BPS activities, including raw data entry for bubble diagrams and workshop preparation.
• Align product road‑maps with long‑term capacity plans and manage related documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 1‑3 years of experience in production planning or capacity management.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to mine and interpret data.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to take responsibility.
