Mechanical Engineer (Simulation)

About the role

Regal Rexnord is hiring a Mechanical Engineer (Simulation) in Changzhou City. This is a fully onsite position carried out at the designated Regal Rexnord office. The role covers turning customer requirements into new product specifications, leading research and NPD programmes, and supporting product quality and manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer demands, convert them into new product specifications, and independently develop innovative structural solutions, samples and product verification.
• Lead research and NPD programmes, applying innovative thinking and analytical tools to solve technical challenges and bring results to products.
• Drive product and component standardisation and platform planning, and compile component or material specifications.
• Use A3 or other analysis tools to lead or take part in solving product quality issues within the agreed timeframe.
• Lead or take part in customer technical communications, production-line support and supply-chain improvement, as arranged by the manager.
• Complete other tasks assigned by the manager.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design and related work.
• At least 3 years of algorithm and simulation experience on complex structures.
• Good knowledge of polymer and metal materials and their processing techniques.
• Masters degree or above in mechanical or automation engineering.
• Good teamwork and communication skills; good English is preferred.
