About the role
The Application Engineer will work onsite at Regal Rexnord's Changzhou office, collaborating closely with sales and product management to translate customer needs into product specifications and lead sample development.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with sales and product management to understand customer needs, convert them into product specs, and lead sample design, building, testing, and customer tracking until approval.
- Respond promptly to customer feedback, visit customers as needed, and help solve application problems.
- Check drawings and Bills of Material for new model releases and engineering change requests.
- Lead material cost‑out (MCO) projects and provide technical support to other departments.
- Collaborate with manufacturing on pilot runs, resolve technical issues, and perform motor failure analysis and solutions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
