Mechanical Engineer (Simulation)

About the role

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Mechanical Engineer specialized in simulation to work onsite at its Changzhou City office. The role involves converting customer demands into product specifications, developing innovative structural solutions, and supporting product verification.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and translate them into new product specifications, providing innovative structural designs, sample development, and product validation.
• Lead research and new product development programs, applying innovative thinking and analytical tools to bring technologies to market.
• Drive product component standardization, platform development, and compile component or material specifications.
• Use A3 or other analysis tools to resolve product quality issues within defined timeframes.
• Participate in customer technical communications, support manufacturing lines, and contribute to supply‑chain improvements as directed by management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design and independent structural design work.
• At least 3 years of experience with algorithmic simulation of complex structures.
• Strong knowledge of polymer and metal materials and related processing techniques.
• Master’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• Good teamwork and communication skills, with English proficiency preferred.
