Material Handler

About the role

Greif, a global leader in performance packaging, is hiring a Material Handler in Kunshan, China. The role covers receiving and handling shipments, preparing orders and keeping the shipping area tidy, with routine quality checks and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and track shipments.
• Load or unload shipments from delivery trucks.
• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes and placing orders in the delivery area.
• Label and stockpile shipments according to size, shape and type.
• Maintain a clean shipping supply area by following procedures, rules and regulations.
• Record and manage impaired or damaged merchandise items.
• Complete reports by entering the required information.
• Carry out routine quality checks on finished products and follow quality service standards.
• Follow safety regulations and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Typically 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Solution-oriented problem solver.

Required skills

• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
