Manufacturing Director

About the role

As Manufacturing Director at Bosch Group in Suzhou, you will lead a defined value stream, driving cost, quality and delivery performance through lean production, continuous improvement and Industry 4.0 initiatives. You will shape the business plan and ensure the team meets strategic targets.

Key responsibilities

• Own the value‑stream KPIs and steer the team to achieve cost, quality and delivery goals.
• Implement lean production, quality improvement, daily leadership routines and Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Develop and execute the business plan, defining measures to meet planned cost targets.
• Build and lead a high‑performance team, fostering competence development for future challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of manufacturing experience in the automotive industry with deep process knowledge and a lean mindset.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing large, multi‑disciplinary teams, including blue‑collar staff.
• Strong strategic thinking, communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
