Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded Legal Counsel to support our fast‑growing agricultural technology business across China and the Asia‑Pacific region. The role combines commercial, corporate, intellectual property and dispute resolution responsibilities, acting as a strategic partner to business leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance for day‑to‑day business activities across China, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Support corporate governance, entity management and regulatory compliance activities.
• Manage the company’s intellectual property portfolio, coordinating registrations, maintenance and enforcement with external counsel.
• Handle litigation, arbitration and other dispute matters, and liaise with regulatory authorities.
• Collaborate with global legal teams and business leaders on regional and cross‑border projects.

Required profile

• Law degree and qualification to practice law in China.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in private practice or in‑house legal roles.
• Strong background in contract drafting, commercial negotiations and corporate or IP law.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced international environment.
