Lead Marketing / Digital Marketing Specialist

About the role

Veolia Water Tech is seeking a Lead Marketing/Digital Marketing Specialist to drive the China marketing strategy for its Labwater solutions. The role combines strategic planning with hands‑on execution of digital campaigns, website management and lead generation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement and deliver the China marketing strategy aligned with Veolia’s global Labwater objectives, measuring ROI and KPI performance.
• Execute digital advertising and communication campaigns using Baidu paid ads and WeChat tactics.
• Promote the website, drive traffic, produce content and manage customer testimonials.
• Oversee web back‑end management, coordinating with a development agency, handling security, APIs and databases on a Drupal platform.
• Develop market‑segment lead generation and sales pipelines driven by data and KPI metrics.
• Manage the China marketing budget and obtain approvals from local and global stakeholders.
• Support the China Labwater sales team with promotional calendars and social media activity.
• Coordinate product launch localisation, collateral creation and offline events with the China MarComs team.
• Lead local marketing agencies to execute on‑ and offline activities.
• Track and report campaign and lead metrics using Salesforce.com, and build end‑user profiles and buyer journeys.

Required profile

• Preferably a university degree in a scientific or empirical discipline.
• Up to 6 years of marketing experience with demonstrable success on WeChat and Baidu platforms.
• Fluent in English.
