Kindergarten English Teacher – Early Years (IB PYP)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Kindergarten English Teacher to lead an early‑years class at our international school in Wuxi. The role involves delivering inquiry‑based learning within the IB Primary Years Programme for the 2026‑2027 academic year.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess high‑quality IB PYP learning experiences for kindergarten students.
• Document Units of Inquiry on ManageBac and collaborate closely with the Curriculum Coordinator.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of every learner, including those with individual education plans.
• Maintain pastoral care, wellbeing and behaviour management for the class.
• Create a stimulating, well‑organised classroom environment that fosters independence and resilience.
• Build strong partnerships with families and model mutual respect for cultural diversity.
• Guide assistant teachers and classroom helpers as required.
• Participate actively in team meetings and whole‑school initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Education or related field preferred).
• Relevant teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, state licence or equivalent).
• Early‑years teaching experience; IB PYP experience is an advantage.
• Open to candidates currently based in China or overseas.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ManageBac for curriculum planning and documentation.
