Key Account Manager – Automotive Customer Interface

About the role

The Key Account Manager will act as the primary interface between our customers and MMSH, driving sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction in line with the company’s business strategy. This role focuses on the automotive sector in China, requiring strong relationship building and problem‑solving capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong connections with car manufacturers to expand business opportunities.
• Conduct market analysis to identify new customers for each technology, define approach strategies and execute actions.
• Achieve assigned order acquisition targets.
• Lead commercial contract discussions, negotiations and manage the purchase order process, including order receipt, release and payment.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Support the Business Development Manager with new opportunities and marketing activities.
• Analyze customer integration on quality, reliability and service level indicators, and drive improvement actions.
• Evaluate customer satisfaction through surveys and indicators.
• Assist the Sales Administration Manager with reporting and other tasks as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree; knowledge of engine or engine control is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years experience in China’s automotive industry, preferably in customer management.
• Strong oral and written English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently across China.
• Team‑player with basic computer proficiency.
