Industrial Engineering Manager

About the role

The Industrial Engineering Manager will lead initiatives to eliminate waste, improve efficiency, and support growth across the factory. This role oversees the design and continuous improvement of industrial engineering systems, lean processes, capacity planning, and production line standardization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects to reduce cost, cycle time, and defects using professional IE methodologies.
• Work with production teams to implement manufacturing improvements and facilitate Kaizen events.
• Develop and maintain control plans, poka‑yoke, and TPM solutions for each line.
• Construct and optimize factory IE standards, including standard cycle times, routing, and a scientific working‑hour database.
• Compile, review, and enforce SOPs, workstation standards, workflow specifications, and manpower allocation guidelines.
• Design material flow and production‑line layouts, support new line set‑up, renovation, and relocation projects.
• Conduct capacity load and line‑balancing analyses, predict bottlenecks, and ensure stable order delivery.
• Drive factory‑wide lean improvement initiatives using IE tools such as VSM, bottleneck analysis, motion analysis, and line‑balance analysis.

• Proven experience leading industrial engineering or lean initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical abilities and knowledge of standardization, SOP development, and capacity planning.
