Graduate Architect – Shanghai

About the role

Arup is seeking a recent or soon‑to‑be graduate to join its Shanghai Architecture team. This full‑time position offers the chance to work on sustainable, high‑impact projects that shape the built environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the architecture team in delivering design concepts and detailed documentation.
• Utilise Rhino, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite to develop models, drawings and visualisations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary consultants to ensure solutions meet climate, biodiversity and community goals.
• Participate in client workshops, design reviews and project coordination meetings.

Required profile

• Master’s level qualification in Architecture (or equivalent).
• Full working rights in China.
• Maximum 12 months of full‑time experience in a comparable role.
• Purpose‑driven mindset with a willingness to challenge the status‑quo.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Rhino.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
