Global Commodity Buyer – Actuators & Sensors

About the role

We are looking for a Global Commodity Buyer with deep expertise in actuator and sensing procurement. The role will drive supplier performance, manage global vendor negotiations, and support new product introductions.

Key responsibilities

• Scout, onboard and maintain a robust global supplier panel for new technologies.
• Lead supplier integration, CSA assessments and development aligned with sub‑commodity strategies.
• Achieve AOP objectives and quarterly Matex targets through negotiations, value engineering and resourcing optimization.
• Conduct annual negotiations, support NPI launches and generate innovative ideas for global projects.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in actuator and sensing procurement.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic thinker with a global mindset and ability to foster long‑term supplier relationships.

Required skills

• Experience managing supplier panels, regional balancing and localization.
• Proven ability to execute productivity initiatives and cost‑optimization strategies.
