French Digital Media Editor (Beijing)

About the role
CGTN Français, the French‑language arm of China Global Television Network, is looking for a French Digital Media Editor to join its Beijing newsroom. You will help produce, adapt and present news content for TV broadcast and online platforms, reaching a global French‑speaking audience.
Key responsibilities
- Translate and proofread editorial texts for television news and digital articles.
- Perform voice‑over dubbing and write intros, transitions, and news segments.
- Host live TV news, participate in live shows with guests, or present documentary series.
- Report on current events and conduct live reporting for social‑media channels.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of experience in media, preferably at a French‑language TV channel.
- Native‑level proficiency in French; knowledge of Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
- Dynamic, serious, motivated attitude with curiosity about news from China and the world.
- Ability to quickly identify information that will engage audiences on social media.
