Financial Controller – Cost Management

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join the Cost Management stream, responsible for overseeing a wide range of cost categories and ensuring financial discipline across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Directly manage and control cost categories such as Personal Costs, Office/Campus Costs, Activity‑Based Operating Costs, Retail Costs and other allocations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with L’Oréal Group guidelines and local regulations.
• Lead budgeting, planning and forecasting (PB/B/T) for SG&A, preparing reliable forecasts and variance analysis.
• Provide financial reporting and analytical support for SG&A‑related inquiries, delivering insights to senior management.
• Act as the Division Referent and Financial Business Partner, gathering business requirements and communicating financial implications to stakeholders.
• Participate in the continuous standardisation and improvement of SG&A cost‑controlling processes, identifying efficiency gains.
• Support procurement and expense‑approval processes and conduct ad‑hoc analyses as requested by management.

Required profile

• Strong background in finance or accounting, preferably with experience in cost control or SG&A management.
• Excellent analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Effective communication skills to act as a business partner to various functions.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
