About the role
NXP is looking for a Field Quality Engineer in Shanghai (JingAn). The role focuses on responding quickly to customers and managing customer complaints, including coordinating communication on complaint status and 8D reports.
Key responsibilities
- Prompt response and service to customers.
- Manage or coordinate customer communication for customer complaints, FA status and 8D reports.
- Lead and cooperate with customers on reducing complaints caused by non-NXP factors.
- Perform field failure verification for customer complaints.
Required profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering.
- Excellent communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Independent working style.
Required skills
- Strong PC skills, especially data mining.
- Preferred: experience in automotive, semiconductors and failure analysis; familiarity with 8D, 5 Why, FTA, TS, VDA, FMEA and control plans.
