Analog Design Engineer (Graduating 2027)

About the role

NXP's Precision Analog and Interface business unit designs high-performance analog products optimized for ultra-low power and high precision, serving mobile, industrial, telecommunications and automotive markets. As an Analog Design Engineer, you will join an experienced design team and help develop next-generation analog and mixed-signal IC solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop analog and mixed-signal IP blocks such as LDOs, LED drivers, GPIOs, crystal oscillators, RC oscillators and data converters.
• Run development activities from design, layout and simulation through to physical validation of mixed-signal integrated circuits.
• Ensure technical deliverables meet quality and performance standards.
• Work with layout engineers to optimize analog layout implementation.
• Support product evaluation and characterization with application and validation teams.
• Collaborate with global design teams to improve design methodologies and share knowledge.

Required profile

• Graduating in 2027 with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, with good communication skills.
• Self-motivated team player with a collaborative mindset.
• An internship, research or tape-out experience in analog/mixed-signal IC design is a plus.

Required skills

• Solid foundation in CMOS analog IC design: analog fundamentals, device physics, semiconductor processes, analog layout and basic mixed-signal concepts.
• Familiarity with EDA tools and SPICE simulation, and experience with the Cadence design environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Plus: low-power design techniques, precision analog circuits, silicon validation and lab measurement methods.
