Electrician – Wiring Assembly Specialist

About the role

Wärtsilä is seeking an Electrician to join its marine and energy technology teams. You will be responsible for assembling and maintaining electrical wiring for large‑scale equipment, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Complete wiring assembly tasks according to work instructions, drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams.
• Identify and use appropriate electrical components and wiring tools.
• Maintain equipment, tools and work‑area cleanliness following 5S principles.
• Strictly apply personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in electrical wiring or cabling assembly.
• Experience with cabling large equipment.
• Valid Low‑Voltage certification.
• Senior high school or technical school education.
• Honest attitude, good teamwork spirit and willingness to follow safety procedures.
