DTC Trainer

About the role

Mattel is seeking a DTC Trainer to lead and facilitate training for employees in its distribution center. The role supports new hires, temporary staff, department transfers, and employees needing recertification, ensuring they understand company values, safety standards, and operational procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver training programs for a variety of employee groups, including classroom and on‑the‑floor sessions.
• Communicate Mattel’s values, product handling techniques, documentation and customer service requirements, and safety guidelines.
• Track trainee progress, provide performance feedback, and make recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with leads, supervisors, HR, and the Operations Manager to evaluate and enhance training effectiveness.
• Advise supervisors on trainee readiness, succession planning, and advancement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all Mattel safety and security policies.
• Occasionally perform warehouse technician duties as needed.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with trainees and cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to assess learning outcomes and provide constructive feedback.
• Experience in a training or instructional role within a warehouse or distribution environment.
