Director of Human Resources – Hotel

About the role

The Director of Human Resources will lead all HR functions for a leading hotel in Beijing, ensuring that talent, performance, and employee experience align with the business strategy. This senior position reports directly to senior management and drives HR excellence across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and forecast short‑ and long‑term talent needs to support the hotel’s growth objectives.
• Maintain a best‑practice recruitment process, managing vacancy pipelines and attracting top candidates.
• Develop and oversee succession planning and career development programs.
• Design and implement learning, development, and training initiatives to enhance service quality.
• Manage compensation, benefits, payroll, and the HR information system.
• Provide counseling, coaching, and welfare services to staff.
• Lead employee‑relations matters, including surveys, social events, and conflict resolution.
• Monitor industry HR trends and benchmark against competitors.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior HR leadership, preferably within hospitality or a comparable service sector.
• Strong understanding of talent management, succession planning, and performance management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex HR projects and drive continuous improvement.
