Director, East Asia Exchange Management

About the role

LSEG is looking for a Director to lead its Exchange Management function across East Asia, managing regional Exchange Managers to deliver resilient, high-quality real-time and reference data from regional venues. The role is accountable for service and quality metrics, customer escalations, risk and vendor management, and partners with Product, Data Strategy, Engineering, SAM and CSM to support growth and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the customer escalation point for SAM, CSM and CSPs on critical data incidents from exchanges, and build and maintain venue profiles for premium venues
• Run post-incident reviews with exchanges and internal teams for source-triggered outages
• Identify and mitigate engineering, data, regulatory and telecom risks, support disaster recovery testing and progress secondary communications with exchanges
• Maintain the Vendor Management Dashboard, submit and track SII risk entries, and drive source quality improvements with venues
• Advocate the customer's voice to protect revenue, enable new business and uphold LSEG's reputation
• Lead, coach and performance manage Exchange Managers, including career pathing and succession planning
• Work with Content Management to exit or de-scope low-value venues and optimise source costs
• Lead exchange management for Day-1s, prioritised MD1s, roadmap changes and content enhancements, keeping monthly contact with exchanges

Required profile

• 7+ years of leadership experience in exchange-traded data
• Deep knowledge of real-time systems, exchange data and LSEG products
• Executive-level communication and proven handling of critical customer issues
• Familiarity with LSEG risk and governance and ability to influence Product, Engineering, Strategy and external exchanges
