Director, Compliance & Ethics (AP Region)

About the role

The Director of Compliance & Ethics for the AP region will partner with the Vice President & Chief Compliance Officer and the global Compliance & Ethics team to design, coordinate, implement and administer worldwide compliance programs. This senior position acts as a strategic advisor to regional and business leaders, promoting a culture of integrity, accountability and open communication.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to senior leadership on compliance risks, emerging trends and mitigation strategies.
• Ensure alignment with global policies, the Business Conduct Manual and applicable laws and regulations.
• Monitor regulatory changes, industry best practices and legal developments affecting the business.
• Develop and execute global ethics training and awareness initiatives for the assigned region.
• Prepare compliance and ethics reports for the Chief Compliance Officer and C&E Committees.
• Identify, assess and prioritize regional compliance risks, including ABAC, AML, fraud and workplace conduct.
• Lead investigations of policy and legal violations, coordinate remediation and disciplinary actions.
• Collaborate with Risk Management, HR, Internal Audit, Finance, Security and other functions to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Oversee C&E managers and leads, supporting their career development.
• Deliver compliance training to associates and third parties and monitor privacy breach handling.

Required profile

• Solid experience in legal and/or compliance, including design and administration of corporate C&E programs or white‑collar investigations, gained at a major law/accounting firm or multinational corporation.
• Experience working in international operations.
• Maturity, judgment, discernment and confidence to build relationships across the organization and with external contacts.
• Strong people‑management and talent‑development abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English, comfortable with public speaking and presentations.
