Digitalization Engineer – SAP & AI Lead

About the role

The Digitalization Engineer will act as the technical lead for Bosch's enterprise SAP platform, overseeing implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of S/4HANA/ECC solutions. The role also drives SAP‑embedded AI and generative AI initiatives, turning business requirements into intelligent automation prototypes and production deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SAP system implementation, configuration, enhancement, troubleshooting and production support for S/4HANA or ECC landscapes.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into feasible SAP solution designs.
• Own AI‑related projects: identify high‑value use cases, conduct requirement analysis, prototype development, pilot rollout and full deployment.
• Design integration architecture between SAP and AI/LLM platforms, building secure data pipelines for model consumption.
• Conduct system health checks, performance optimisation, change management, testing, training and post‑go‑live support.
• Evaluate new SAP technologies (AI Core, AI Launchpad, intelligent RPA) and provide roadmap recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Finance or a related field.
• Extensive hands‑on SAP implementation and support experience, with deep knowledge of S/4HANA or ECC and at least one core module (PP, MM, SD, FI‑CO preferred).
• Proven experience as a technical or project lead on IT projects, including AI or intelligent‑automation deployments.
• Strong business analysis capability to gather requirements, perform gap analysis and design solutions.
• Excellent English communication skills for international collaboration.
