Design Engineer – Product Engineering (BU Mounts)

About the role

Vibracoustic, a global automotive supplier, is looking for a proactive Design Engineer to join the Product Engineering team for the BU Mounts business unit in Wuxi. You will be involved in the full product development cycle, from concept design to manufacturing, ensuring robust, cost‑effective solutions that meet customer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the acquisition phase, focusing on design‑to‑cost and design‑to‑manufacturing strategies.
• Develop robust designs that comply with customer specifications and internal Design Verification Plans (DVP).
• Lead technical meetings with customers and support the Application Team (AT) during problem‑solving activities.
• Conduct regular design reviews and ensure on‑time delivery of all design activities.
• Secure design quality and validate results through testing and analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering or a related technical field.
• Strong analytical mindset with basic knowledge of NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) theories.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills in English; proficiency in the local language is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CATIA or UG/NX CAD tools.
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is advantageous.
