Customer Service Representative

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative who will deliver an optimal experience to our clients while embodying Mouser values. The role involves handling a wide range of customer requests, from orders and quotes to product information and returns, ensuring timely and accurate service.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer orders, special handling requests, quotes, returns, catalogs, samples, and product information.
• Determine customer expectations and present suitable options.
• Generate new and repeat business through proactive service initiatives.
• Follow up with customers to maintain ongoing satisfaction.
• Monitor delivery dates and product quality to meet requirements.
• Provide price and delivery quotes within specified deadlines.
• Support local Customer Service teams and provide chat assistance in multiple languages.

Required profile

• Professional verbal and written communication in the local language and fluent English.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage time effectively, adapt to changing priorities and meet productivity targets.

Required skills

• Microsoft Windows operating environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and internet browsing.
• Ability to read and interpret spreadsheets and printed reports.
• Experience using dual‑terminal screens and telephone headsets.
