Customer Service Representative

About the role

The Customer Service Representative will deliver an optimal experience to Mouser customers, handling a wide range of requests from orders and quotes to returns and product information. The role requires a proactive, customer‑focused attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer requests accurately, including orders, special handling, quotes, returns, catalogs, samples, and product information.
• Determine customer expectations and present suitable options to meet their needs.
• Generate new and repeat business through service initiatives and promotional offerings.
• Provide timely price and delivery quotes, monitor delivery dates, and ensure product quality.
• Support local Customer Service teams and provide chat support in required languages.
• Maintain high standards of quality, confidentiality, and attendance.
• Adapt to changing priorities, meet productivity targets, and contribute to total quality expectations.

Required profile

• Professional verbal and written communication in the local language and fluent English.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and able to manage time effectively.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to build relationships with key customers and work collaboratively across teams.
• Trustworthy, maintains confidentiality, and demonstrates a high level of commitment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows environment.
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet browsers.
• Ability to read and interpret spreadsheets, printed reports, and dual‑terminal screens.
• Comfortable using telephone headsets for voice support.
