Customer Project Manager – ETAS

About the role

The Customer Project Manager is the primary commercial liaison for existing Bosch customers, ensuring project delivery aligns with agreed scope, schedule, cost and quality. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage release and supplier activities, and act as the commercial voice of the customer throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project planning, milestone tracking and release management for customer‑focused initiatives.
• Maintain commercial interfaces: report progress, negotiate scope, prepare quotes, issue invoices and purchase orders.
• Track project budgets, costs and key performance indicators (OTD, EBIT, KPI completeness).
• Coordinate with a dedicated Customer Kanban Team or act as Team Product Owner when required.
• Set up project charters, management plans and maintain internal artefacts (risk, change, lessons learned).
• Facilitate audits, certifications and PPQA activities (Release, Hotfix, PreQIC, KIR).
• Collect and enter customer requirements into the appropriate tools and ensure they are evaluated.
• Provide input for PI planning and prioritize features with Product Owners.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex, interdisciplinary projects with a customer‑centric focus.
• Strong communication skills for interfacing with customers, sales, legal and internal teams.
• Ability to lead intercultural teams and drive consensus across functional areas.
• Experience with financial reporting, forecasting and budget control.

Required skills

• C4C (Salesforce equivalent) for quote and invoice management.
• PPM tools for project planning and resource forecasting.
• Kanban methodology for agile delivery.
