About the role

The Color Trim Designer will lead the creation of innovative color and material concepts for our products, translating market trends and customer insights into compelling design solutions. This role works closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure designs are feasible, on‑brand, and ready for production.

Key responsibilities

• Research and analyse regional design trends, material developments, and customer preferences.
• Generate color and material ideas, develop mood boards, renderings, prototypes, and virtual sketch‑board presentations.
• Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Management teams to align concepts with project goals.
• Communicate with suppliers during the colour‑matching process and manage theme selection based on research.
• Lead innovation projects (JV and MB production), creating and realising concept proposals and physical samples.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in automotive, fashion, or luxury‑brand design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Arts, Graphic, Interior, Product, or Fashion design.
• Fluent written and spoken English; basic Chinese knowledge.
• Proactive attitude with strong timeline management.

Required skills

• Advanced Photoshop (PS) and 2D illustration abilities.
• Proficiency in Illustrator and other vector illustration tools.
• Experience with 3D modelling software for visualisation.
• Competence in AI‑based design tools.
