Cloud Infrastructure DevOps Engineer – Shanghai

About the role

We are building a new cloud landing zone on Tencent Cloud within a GxP‑regulated environment. As a Cloud Infrastructure DevOps Engineer (Level 2) you will become a hands‑on practitioner, contributing to automation, platform operations, and CI/CD pipelines for a multi‑cloud landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design, build, and maintenance of the Tencent Cloud landing zone using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot Tencent Kubernetes Engine (TKE) clusters, including networking, RBAC, scaling, and monitoring.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment with GitHub Actions and GitOps workflows.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, testing, compliance checks, and drift detection.
• Monitor infrastructure health, participate in incident response, and ensure high availability.
• Implement and maintain network security controls such as firewall rules, security groups, and VPN connectivity.
• Support qualification activities in the GxP‑regulated environment under senior guidance.
• Participate in on‑call rotations covering AWS, GCP, Azure, and Tencent Cloud.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or a related discipline.
• Basic to intermediate understanding of cloud concepts with a willingness to deepen expertise on Tencent Cloud.
• Foundational knowledge of Kubernetes; hands‑on TKE experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with Git and basic CI/CD principles; exposure to GitHub Actions is beneficial.
