Clinical Research Associate (CRA) - Shanghai

About the role

ICON is a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation. As a CRA II in Shanghai, you will design and analyse clinical trials, interpret complex medical data and help advance new medicines and treatments. The role involves clinical trial monitoring, with about 60% travel required.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to clinical trial monitoring, taking responsibility for your deliverables and working collaboratively
• Carry out site qualification, initiation, monitoring and close-out visits
• Ensure protocol compliance, data integrity and patient safety throughout the trial
• Work with investigators and site staff to run studies smoothly
• Review data and resolve queries to keep clinical data high quality
• Help prepare and review study documentation, including protocols and clinical study reports

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field
• At least 2 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate
• Willingness to travel approximately 60%
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of clinical trial processes, regulations and ICH-GCP guidelines
• Strong organisational and communication skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
