Cabin Innovation Internship – Suzhou R&D Centre

About the role

Join Airbus’s Suzhou R&D Centre as a Cabin Innovation intern, supporting projects that blend cutting‑edge AI software with advanced cabin design. You will work for six months starting October 2026, gaining hands‑on experience in project management and rapid prototyping.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in improving the Future Cabin Studio showroom by integrating new prototypes, coordinating with suppliers and using 3D‑printing facilities.
• Support procurement of low‑value items and help organise on‑site events.
• Create video content using video‑editing software for internal and external communication.
• Operate 3D printers, perform post‑processing, manage print queues and material inventory for rapid‑prototype development.

Required profile

• Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials and ergonomics.
• Conceptual and strategic thinking with a passion for future‑oriented design.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills in English and Chinese.
• Proactive, self‑driven attitude and a “can‑do” mindset.

Required skills

• 3D printing and rapid‑prototyping techniques.
• Computer Vision fundamentals.
• Artificial Intelligence concepts.
