Brand Protection Investigator

About the role

MarqVision is seeking a Brand Protection Investigator to join its Legal and Expert Services Team in Shanghai. You will lead investigations that protect clients' intellectual property across digital platforms, coordinating test purchases and legal actions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct investigative test purchases and produce detailed client reports.
• Communicate with global partner firms to initiate legal actions such as demand letters.
• Research online sellers and applicable IP laws in various jurisdictions.
• Coordinate enforcement actions against counterfeit sellers.
• Maintain and update the case management database.
• Support additional brand‑protection services as required by customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English and Chinese in a business setting.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to investigative guidelines.
• Experience working across multiple time zones and in multicultural environments.
• Residency in China to receive and handle test‑purchase products.
