Brand Communications Manager – Football, Basketball & F1

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Brand Communications Manager to lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing initiatives for football, basketball and Formula 1. The role will align brand activities with China business strategies while adhering to global adidas guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement brand communication plans that maximise product exposure and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Product, Sports, Culture and Retail Marketing teams to support brand assets, trade fairs and meetings.
• Stay current on media trends and new‑media opportunities, identifying co‑op and co‑branding possibilities.
• Manage the correct legal use of adidas trademarks and logos.
• Source and manage agency partners and media vendors, providing clear creative briefs.
• Control the brand communication budget, negotiate quotations and evaluate pricing.
• Execute, track and quality‑check all brand communication deliverables.
• Coordinate launch schedules with merchandising and sales departments.
• Analyse campaign performance, produce regular reports and benchmark brand health metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience in brand communication or marketing within the sports sector.
• Strong understanding of football, basketball and motorsport audiences.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with product, retail and cultural teams.
• Excellent analytical skills for performance tracking and reporting.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of media, social and new‑media platforms.
