About the role
The Digital Department Head will lead Bosch's digital backbone and drive overall digital transformation across all functional areas. This senior position combines strategic leadership with hands‑on implementation of key digital initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the digital backbone owner and transformation driver for every function.
- Enable local implementation and optimization of BBM processes and central applications.
- Lead the preparation and rollout of SAP S/4 Hana.
- Govern data security and act as consultant for related measures.
- Provide digital application development, data platform usage and AI‑enabled solutions.
- Manage digital cost management and oversee digital competence enablement.
- Define data governance and shape application architecture.
Required profile
- Standard Head of Department authority with experience in IT and digital cost steering.
- Proven track record of benefit tracking within RBCC.
- Active participation in the DiP6 virtual community.
