Audit Associate/Senior – Jinan

About the role

Deloitte China is seeking motivated professionals to join our audit team in Jinan. You will work on a variety of audit engagements for multinational corporations, listed companies, and leading Chinese firms, applying Deloitte’s risk‑based audit methodology.

Key responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for small to medium‑size audit assignments.
• Lead audit engagements and, when required, handle accounting and taxation tasks.
• Build trust with clients while maintaining independence and understanding their service expectations.
• Deliver high‑quality audit services, applying relevant regulations and risk‑management principles.
• Choose appropriate tools, guidance, and methodology to execute audits efficiently.
• Participate actively in risk‑assessment discussions and contribute to the overall risk strategy for each engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline, preferably accounting or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CICPA, HKICPA or other CPA qualifications is desirable.
• Three to five years of audit experience in a CPA firm, preferably a Big 4.
• Accreditation as a Green & Sustainable Finance (GSF) professional is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and/or HK GAAP, with experience in IPO‑related audits.

Required skills

• Understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and HK GAAP standards.
• Proficiency in audit analytics and data visualization techniques.
• Ability to assess and communicate audit risk effectively.
