Assistant Communications Manager

About the role

Dyson is looking for a dynamic Assistant Communications Manager to lead product communications across Greater China and support internal communications. The role will help position Dyson as the benchmark for engineering‑led innovation, drive consumer preference, and strengthen employee engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated communications strategies for new product launches, tailoring messages to regional consumer priorities.
• Build and maintain relationships with tier‑1 and tier‑2 media outlets, influencers, and industry stakeholders to secure coverage that reinforces Dyson’s innovation leadership.
• Partner with marketing and commercial teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
• Support Greater China leadership in delivering clear, engaging internal communications.
• Create content and campaigns that enhance employee understanding of Dyson’s vision, strategy, and values.
• Manage internal communication channels such as intranet, newsletters, and town‑hall events.
• Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to drive employee engagement and alignment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of communications experience, preferably in consumer technology, lifestyle, or innovation‑driven industries.
• Proven track record in product PR and media relations within Greater China.
• Strong writing and storytelling abilities in both English and Mandarin.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects under tight deadlines.
• Experience in internal communications and employee‑engagement programs is a plus.
• Strategic thinker with hands‑on execution capability.
