Assistant Brand Communication Manager

About the role

The Assistant Brand Communication Manager will support the development and execution of Kiehl's brand communication strategy, ensuring alignment with both international guidelines and local business objectives. This role works closely with senior leadership to enhance brand visibility and reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a 360° external communication plan consistent with the global brand strategy.
• Coordinate integrated campaigns for product launches, brand events, and sponsorships.
• Manage media relations, including new media, and build a media‑mapping of relevant stakeholders.
• Support public‑relations activities such as spokesperson preparation, ambassador programs, and crisis anticipation.
• Adapt corporate brand positioning for local initiatives (philanthropy, sponsorship, etc.).
• Advise the Country GM on corporate communication, including image strategy, interview preparation, and media training.
• Design and execute internal communication plans that mirror external efforts.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a communication team while managing the department budget.

Required profile

• Proven experience in brand or corporate communication, preferably within the beauty or consumer goods sector.
• Strong understanding of integrated communication, media relations, and public‑relations best practices.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with corporate and local teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
