ASIC CAD Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an ASIC CAD Support Engineer to join Bosch Group’s Shanghai team. You will ensure the smooth operation of Linux‑based servers and data storage, and support the ASIC design environment for both domestic and overseas projects.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain Linux servers and network‑attached storage (NAS) for internal and overseas users.
• Deploy semiconductor process design kits (PDK) locally.
• Develop and maintain scripts that automate the ASIC EDA workflow.
• Troubleshoot daily IT and CAD issues to keep design activities on schedule.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related software field.
• At least one year of experience in IT or CAD support roles.
• Strong knowledge of Linux server/OS environments and ASIC EDA tools such as Cadence or Synopsys.
• Proficiency in shell and Python scripting.
• Self‑motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to collaborate with domestic and overseas teams.
• Good English communication skills; German is a plus.
