Art Teacher

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Art Teacher to join our fast‑paced international school in Shanghai. You will deliver the UK National Curriculum, I/GCSE and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, inspiring students to set ambitious artistic goals and explore innovative creative practices.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess art lessons across Key Stages and IB levels.
• Integrate UK curriculum standards and IB objectives into classroom activities.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and outcomes.
• Contribute to the school’s extensive extra‑curricular programme and lead art‑related clubs or events.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and continuously improve teaching quality.

Required profile

• Degree in Art or a related specialist subject (preferred).
• Qualified teacher status and at least two years of relevant teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum, I/GCSE and IB frameworks.
• Ability to create a limitless classroom culture and motivate students.
• Willingness to engage with parents and the wider school community.
