About the role
The Advisory Clinical Scientist will work closely with radiation oncologists, radiologists, medical physicists and research teams to drive clinical application research and translate imaging insights into AI‑based solutions. Based in Beijing, the role involves frequent travel to hospitals and research institutes to support studies, demos and collaborations.
Key responsibilities
- Design and conduct clinical research projects, monitor progress and contribute to publications.
- Support setup, execution and follow‑up of clinical studies, optimise imaging protocols and workflows.
- Develop and apply medical image analysis and AI solutions using Python and/or Matlab, and validate them with clinical partners.
- Provide scientific consultation, pre‑sales support and product demonstrations to customers and KOLs.
- Gather clinical needs, feedback and market trends to inform product development and commercial strategy.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (Radiation Oncology, Medical Imaging, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, etc.).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in radiation oncology, radiology or clinical research, with proven collaboration with clinicians.
- Strong communication skills in Chinese and English, self‑motivated and willing to travel frequently.
Required skills
- Python programming.
- MATLAB programming.
- C++ (advantageous).
- Deep learning and machine‑learning techniques.
- Radiomics, quantitative imaging, segmentation and registration.
- Medical image analysis and data processing.
