Accountant (Record-To-Report, Fixed Asset)

About the role

The Fixed Asset Accountant is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of fixed assets, from acquisition to retirement, ensuring accurate accounting, timely reporting, and compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain fixed asset master records and asset cards; perform capitalizations, transfers, retirements and disposals.
• Prepare and analyse fixed‑asset reports such as 2000/3500, CapEx, depreciation analysis and other management reporting requirements.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close activities, including depreciation calculations, reconciliations, journal entries and variance analysis.
• Maintain compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, statutory requirements and financial reporting standards.
• Partner with business stakeholders to resolve issues, provide accounting guidance and ensure efficient process execution.
• Identify inefficient or non‑value‑added processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of fixed‑asset accounting principles and processes.
• 3–4 years of relevant fixed‑asset accounting experience (exceptional candidates may be considered with less).
• Excellent communication skills and a continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Basic proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
