Account Sales IV

About the role

As the account owner, you will represent Applied Materials to customers and act as the voice of the customer within the company. You will drive sales, manage relationships, and develop complex strategies to meet customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and develop/implement complex sales strategies.
• Call on existing or new customers to present Applied Materials products and services, coordinating demonstrations with product business groups.
• Communicate Applied Materials product roadmaps and capabilities to customers, and convey customer technology needs to internal teams.
• Prepare pricing quotes, negotiate final prices, and submit documentation to book orders.
• Conduct follow‑up on accounts receivable and maintain appropriate coverage and documentation for all assigned customers.
• Maintain summaries of customer visits and develop customer‑specific action plans on a timely basis.

Required profile

• Demonstrates depth and breadth of expertise in a specialized discipline or field.
• Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
• Leads functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and complexity.
• Leads others to solve complex problems using sophisticated analytical judgment.

• Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt alternative viewpoints.
