About the role
AVEVA is seeking an Account Manager to lead a portfolio of large, high‑profile accounts in the metals (or non‑ferrous metals) sector across Beijing or Shanghai. You will drive revenue growth, expand adoption of AVEVA’s industrial software solutions, and prepare to transition into a people‑management position.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve assigned vertical industry sales targets and quotas.
- Develop and execute industry development plans and replicable business models.
- Build and maintain a partner network within the metals industry.
- Coordinate industry‑specific marketing activities.
- Understand customer requirements and deliver timely, efficient solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain high contract quality and cash return records.
- Collaborate closely with senior management to provide accurate information.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of direct sales experience in a relevant domain.
- Strong knowledge of the metals or non‑ferrous metals industry; background in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields is preferred.
- Proficiency in reading and writing English.
