Supplier Quality Engineer – eLION DCCC

About the role

The Supplier Quality Engineer will support Bosch's domestic and overseas plants by qualifying, auditing and developing Chinese suppliers. You will ensure that supplier processes meet Bosch’s quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Qualify and select suppliers for VDA6.3 P1 and OPL closed Q‑programs, and manage new‑supplier releases.
• Participate in pre‑global sourcing meetings and provide technical support to Chinese suppliers.
• Define material‑group specific quality requirements and check‑lists.
• Plan, execute and follow‑up supplier audits (GPc16) and annual audit planning (VDA6.3).
• Drive supplier development activities, including Q‑method trainings, coaching and capability studies.
• Monitor supplier performance, change management and preventive quality gates.
• Support Focus Supplier Program, Supplier Quality Days and related SQM processes.
• Handle claim management, problem solving and rapid corrective actions for supplier issues.
• Collaborate closely with purchasing, plant colleagues and overseas partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards, inspection techniques and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with root‑cause analysis, supplier quality management and QMS.
