Sourcing Engineer

As part of Alfa Laval’s 140‑year‑old start‑up culture, the Sourcing Engineer will support product lines such as FSS (Oil, Methanol, Ammonia, LNG) and HSS, driving cost‑of‑goods‑sold savings and supplier localisation across the E&M Asia supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the sourcing strategy and manage supplier relationships to enhance product competitiveness in cost, quality and lead‑time.
• Develop negotiation plans and achieve commercial results with both external and internal suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance, addressing safety, quality, delivery and cost deviations.
• Lead actions to mitigate supply‑chain risks and ensure material supply during capacity, quality or delivery constraints.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree; experience in manufacturing or marine equipment is a plus.
• At least 5 years of sourcing or related procurement experience.
• Strong problem‑solving and target‑oriented mindset with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
