Sales Representative – Chengdu Market

About the role

Etihad Airways is seeking an ambitious Sales Representative to expand its presence in the Chengdu market. You will own a portfolio of travel‑trade and corporate customers, build strong relationships, and uncover new revenue opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales plans to meet revenue and commercial targets.
• Manage existing accounts while proactively identifying new business prospects.
• Build relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients and key commercial partners.
• Analyse market trends, customer potential and competitor activity to pinpoint revenue opportunities.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline and drive opportunities from engagement to conversion.
• Negotiate mutually beneficial commercial outcomes with customers and partners.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create customer solutions and support commercial initiatives.
• Promote Etihad products and services relevant to the market.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in sales, account management or business development.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
• Experience in airline sales is preferred, but strong B2B sales background in travel or related sectors is acceptable.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Commercial and analytical mindset with confidence using data and market insights.
• Ability to work across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactive, energetic and resilient attitude in a target‑driven environment.
• Bachelor’s degree.
